I am an avid woodworker/hobbyist and this is not my first saw. After a lot of research I ordered the Bosch 4310 based on numerous reviews and the experience of people I trust who have used this tool. I’m happy I did. The box arrived intact and right when they said it would. The saw required very small alignment adjustments before use and operated perfectly from the get go. The saw is sturdy, well designed and easy to use. The detent stops and angle measurements have been very accurate so far but this is a factor of the accuracy of the initial alignment. The blade, which I expected to have to replace, is actually a very good quality item that cuts cleanly in all types of wood and I shall be using it for a while before fitting a Freud crosscut. The dust collection bag is not up to the task as with most bag collection systems but when fitted to a shop vac it works acceptably. This saw replaces a Delta miter saw which gave good service.
